1962 Return To Top Is Planning Our 45th Reunion! The Reunion Committee met Monday the 19th to put the finishing touches on our 45th Class Reunion, It is going to be a great get togather and there will be something for everyone to enjoy. We have a fun weekend planned for all. Friday June 22nd at the COMFORT SUITES Texarkana (same place we had our 40th) 1-903-223-0951 Donnie Frame has reserved a block of 30 rooms for those comming in from out of town, at $78.00 per night.Need to make your reservations as soon as possible. We will have a hospitallty room for all of us to gather, there will be snacks set up in the room that afternoon for snacking and visiting. That night we will have a buffet, catered by TaMolly's Mexican Resturant, we have this room for as long as we like for eating and visiting with each other. All of this will take place at the Motel. Sat. June 23 we will have the hospitalty room at the motel for a set up of Coffee, Orange Juice, Milk, pastries, ect, that morning from 7:00 am to 12:00 this will give the Golfers a chance to have a snack before they go over to NORTHRIDGE COUNTRY CLUB(same place that they played last reunion) The Green Fees are $55.30 includes Golf Cart---they will accept Cash or Check only no Credit Cards will be accepted. Contact the Pro Shop if you plan to play that morning. The number is 903-792-9331 talk to Rick Rogers or John Flippo to make your reservations for that morning. We will travel from Texarkana to Atlanta to Tommy's BBQ located on Hwy 59 South, pass what used to be The Natural Foods Association or about 5 miles out of town towards Linden it will be on your left) to have lunch at 1:00 this will be Dutch Treet for all of those that want to go to Atlanta,(. For those that wish to stay in Texarkana, there is plenty of shopping,------A new shopping center has opened on Richmond Rd. with Chico's, Khols, Clearwater Creek, and other top shops) If you stay in Texarkana then you will miss our Tour of our old High School, the New High School, the New Sports Complex Old Miller Grade school and other points of interst in Atlanta. We will return to Texarkana in time for rest and relaxation before Dinner that night at the Texarkana Country Club at 6:30 P.M.(Both Country Clubs have had Multi Million Dollar renavations of their Properties in the last five years).We will have live entertainment that all will enjoy and after we leave the Country Club we still have the hospitallty room back at the Motel were we can gather and visit. It is going to be a great time for all and I just want to let you know how much we appreciate you for all that you do for our class in keeping us informed and up to date on each of us through the years. If you want to rewrite this that is fine or if you want to edit it and send it out as is, you make that choice. It is going to be a great time for all and we look forward to seeing everyone there. |
