"Goodbye To Our Friend"
KENNETH ECHOLS
by Pete Motley
Kenneth Echols The class of '59 lost one of it's best and brightest in December '99. Kenneth Echols lost a short fight with cancer. Kenneth was retired and living in Dayton, Ohio. Prior to his death, he requested his ashes be flown over and released into Caddo Lake.

Kenneth was a rather quiet introspective guy who could be funny and witty and was liked by all. He played a mean boogie woogie piano and was great on the trombone. He served as a volunteer fireman in Atlanta during his Junior and Senior years of high school.

Kenneth joined the Air Force after graduation from AHS and went from enlisted man to officer status by lot's of hard work. He received his formal degree in Civil Engineering. After retiring from the Air Force he formed his own computer consulting company and was very sucessful with that.

Kenneth will be missed and remembered always by all who knew him.
