"Atlanta Schools Celebrate 125 Years!"
A back to school rally and anniversary celebration was held Friday Aug 6, in the AHS auditorium.
Many current and retired employees participated in the event. Atlanta Schools were established in 1874.

Wow, here we are Mid-Term.... The new curbs and paving of streets and parking lots at AHS
have been completed! They really make the school look nice and fresh. The new pavillion behind the school in the vicinity
of the Band Hall and the Tennis Courts is completed and is proving to be a real asset for many activities... especially lunch!
The AISD technology person had just completed linking all the campuses with each other and the world. (Intranet and Internet)
The full district is ON-LINE! Every office and classroom has a computer and each employee has been assigned
an e-mail address.
Presently the Rabbs have a flawless Football Record and are RATED SECOND IN STATE! This is a very cohesive team with a bunch
of good boys that like to play the game and play well together. You know, they play as a TEAM! They proved this again Friday
night against Pleasant Grove when all the players were not able to suit out. The balance of the team took up the slack and made
the WIN! It is an exciting season. If you have not already. Check out the Rabbit Football on our site and catch the Link to

By the way... Did you know that we now have 8 top class Tennis Courts at AHS and the Tennis team has won District (3) years going.....
