June 21, 2003, thirty-one 1960 AHS students met at the home of Em and Jim Stewart for a cook out. With guests (mates and friends), there were about sixty who attended. After the loss of fellow classmate, Jay Ranson, it felt like we needed to see one another. Jay's death was a great tragedy for our class as he had been our "class care taker". He will be greatly missed. Our class gave Memorial Scholarships to two AHS seniors this year in his memory. We plan to present more scholarships in the years to come as a memorial to all the classmates that have passed on.
Our next reunion will be in October, 2005.
